Agentic AI — Tools to Framework
The decision this session forces
Stop using AI only to answer questions. Give one agent a goal in a field you know, and get one paying customer for it within thirty days.
The short version
- Normal AI answers when you ask. An agent is given a goal and works through the steps on its own until the job is done.
- Five things make it an agent: it works without being watched, weighs choices, plans steps, uses other tools to act, and learns from results.
- Agents think in a loop called SPAR: sense what is happening, plan, act, then reflect on how it went.
- AI has six stages, from a dashboard that reports what happened to an agent that pursues a goal by itself.
- No-code does not mean no skill. You still need a clear problem, a measurable goal, good instructions and knowledge of the field.
- Knowledge of the field is the edge. Someone who knows a trade can build an agent for it that a programmer could not specify.
- There are three ways to earn: sell your time, build a product, then let money make money. Agent-as-a-service means charging monthly for an agent you run.
- The deck's market and power figures carry no source. Use them as a reason to look, not as facts to repeat.
- The challenge: build one agent and get one paying customer within thirty days. Report what you built, who paid, how much, and what you learned.
What an agent is
A normal AI tool waits for a question and answers it. An agent is given an outcome and works out the steps itself.
An example. A travel app shows flights when you search. A travel agent-AI hears 'plan a cheap three-day trip to Dubai'. It searches flights and hotels, books them, fills in the visa form and puts the trip in your calendar.
Five features make it an agent. It works without being watched. It weighs trade-offs. It plans several steps. It connects to other tools and apps to act. It adjusts from what happened last time.
The SPAR loop
Think about crossing a road. You sense the traffic. You plan the path and the speed. You act: you walk. Afterwards you reflect on how to do it better.
An agent runs the same loop. Sense: gather the data. Plan: decide the next step. Act: do it through a tool. Reflect: learn from the result. Then round again until the goal is met.
Six stages of AI
One, descriptive: what happened? A dashboard. Two, perceptive: what is this? Speech-to-text or image recognition. Three, predictive: what will happen? A demand forecast.
Four, prescriptive: what should we do? A recommendation, with a human making the call. Five, pragmatic: an assistant that helps in context but waits to be asked. Six, agentic: it pursues a goal on its own.
Autonomy, meaning how much it does without a human, rises at every stage.
No-code is not no-skill
Many tools now let you build an agent by describing it or dragging blocks together. That removes the need to code. It does not remove the need to think.
You still need four things: a clearly defined problem, a goal you can measure, instructions the AI can follow, and real knowledge of the field.
The last one matters most for a career changer. A person who has run the work for years knows which steps go wrong, and that is what the agent has to handle.
Where the money is
The session names three stages of earning: sell your time, build products or systems, and finally let money make money. Agent-as-a-service sits between the first two: you build an agent once and charge a monthly fee to run it for a client.
It lists simple agents with rough monthly prices: a WhatsApp reply agent, a scheduling agent, an email campaign agent, a lead-finding agent. The prices carry no source. Treat them as a first guess to test with a real buyer.
Of the ten career paths shown, two suit a non-coder with operations experience: building no-code agents for small firms, and business development or operations for agent products.
The challenge
Build your first agent and get one paying customer within thirty days. Then report four things: what you built, who your first customer is, how much they paid, and what you learned.
Pick a problem in a field you already know. A small agent that one firm pays for is worth more than a large one nobody has bought.
What to be careful with
The session quotes a 1.8 trillion dollar market by 2030, 45% yearly growth, and power and chip counts for several countries. None of them names a source. Check before you repeat any of them.
It also lists dozens of tools, books and courses. A list is not a plan. Pick one tool and one small build, and finish both before adding more.
