The evidence board
One card for every piece of proof you hold. What it is, what it proves, and where a stranger goes to check it. Everything here saves on this device.
One bar, and it is not about qualityTen-minute checkThe one bar proof is held to. Could somebody who has never met you confirm the claim for themselves in under ten minutes, without asking you for anything? A private folder fails it. A public page with your name on it passes. The full lesson →
Could somebody who has never met you check this in ten minutes, without asking you for anything? That is the whole test. Work that only you can open is not proof yet. It is work, and it is worth the fortnight it takes to make it checkable.
This app never opens your link. It touches no network at all, so you are the one who confirms each line. Open it in a private window and answer honestly — a tick you did not earn only costs you later.
Three kinds, and a buyer wants one of each
Three of one kind is not the same as one of each. They are checked in different ways, so the kind you are missing is the one that costs you the conversation.
01
A live link
What it is Somewhere a stranger can open and see the work. A site, a page, a profile, a running product.
For example A product that is actually online, at an address you can paste into a message. Not a folder of screenshots on your laptop.
02
A named referee
What it is One person who will confirm what you did, by name, with a role, and reachable by somebody who has never met you.
For example A production director you reported to, with the company name and a way to reach her. Not a job title on its own.
03
Published dated work
What it is One finished piece, out in the open, with a date on it that a reader can see.
For example A write-up of how you fixed something, published on a date, with the numbers before and after. A private repository is not this.
What you holdEvidenceSomething a stranger can check in ten minutes without asking you. A live link, a named person who will vouch for you, or dated published work. A claim on a CV does not count; a URL does.
Counted as kinds, not as cards. A kind counts only when at least one card under it could be checked in ten minutes.

Most people have more proof than they think. Work already finished, a person who would vouch for them, something they published and forgot. It is not missing, it is scattered.
Next: Add one piece you already have.
