What it is

The last time you tried to be paid — an application, a message, a quote — and the exact point where it stopped moving.

Why it matters

Diagnose by feeling and you will land on "I need to learn more" every single time, because studying is the most comfortable of the options. Trace one real attempt and the answer is usually somewhere else entirely, and usually cheaper to fix.

The method

Pick one attempt. Find the moment it went quiet. Never asked at all, asked with nothing to show, sent and no reply, hired once and never again, or paid and it drained you. Each one points somewhere different.

Example

Adeel had built and finished four things and had never once named a price to a person. His attempt did not fail. It never began — and no amount of further building was going to close that.
